❤️🔥 From there, our deep passion for the mountains and the desire to showcase the wonders of our beloved region pushed us to learn more.
🎒 Being part of an active and curious tech community, we immediately got moving. We contacted the managers of the Google Street View Trekker Loan Program, and that’s how our journey began—special backpack on our shoulders, and countless trails to share, between Valle d'Aosta and Piedmont.

🚧 Due to the pandemic, the Google Street View project and its community gradually faded away.
🏞️ And that’s exactly where the idea was born: trying to recreate something similar, but in a DIY version.
🎒 The first challenge? Building a backpack like Google’s famous Trekker!
🛠️ After a few not-so-successful prototypes, here it is: a plywood backpack, a selfie stick fixed with custom 3D-printed supports, and a power bank as an auxiliary battery.
💡 It may not be high-tech, but it’s ready to map new trails!
(The backs of our mappers thank us for every gram less in the kit… every climb feels a little lighter!)
